Labs are an essential part of the process in uncovering hidden infections, malfunctions, nutrient deficiencies that help discover  the root cause of your health issues. Without this information that the labs provide us, we would just be guessing what is happening inside you. We don’t guess…we test.

The lab testing is done at home. You may have the lab test kits shipped to you, or can pick them up from the office. Many of the tests have shipping included in the cost of the kits. You will get detailed instructions on how to perform the tests. The investment is made prior to shipping out the test kits. Once we receive your results from the lab, we will email you a brief video interpretation of your results followed by a one hour appointment to go over them in greater detail. Appointments can be done from the comfort of your own home or office via phone and Zoom.

By becoming a partner you have access to direct pricing for labs, which ensures you invest the lowest price possible. We will determine which lab test(s) will be necessary during our initial session. On average, you can expect to spend between $500-$1500 for initial testing. In some cases, follow-up testing may be advisable to monitor things such as hormone balancing or the eradication of a gut pathogen. Regardless of how much you pay in lab fees, we’ve made every effort to ensure that you’re receiving direct-lab wholesale pricing on all lab tests.. We only order tests that area pertinent to your individual case.

Because everyone is a unique individual with their own histories, lifestyles, abilities and needs, everyone has with their own health history. This also means everyone has their own unique healing process as well There are also many factors involved including how committed you are, your participation level, your unique health issues and the state of your current health.

Yes, we want to make sure that you fully understand your lab results and that you can easily share them with your healthcare team if necessary. Most importantly, the video lab interpretation allows you to become more involved and engaged in your own care. Once we have worked together to reach your health goals and you require additional support after the 8 months is complete you have the option  to continue

Yes, you will still require your primary care practitioner. Dr. Ruby Thind works as a functional medicine consultant in conjunction with your current health team and is not considered a replacement for your primary care physician. She requires all new patients to have a primary care physician to cover acute emergencies and routine care and screening.
